Privacy Policy

Starter template — not legal advice. Confirm it matches what the app actually does and your obligations (NZ Privacy Act 2020) before relying on it.

This policy explains what PaperPress ([REVIEW: legal entity name]) collects and why. We try to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

  • Account — your email and authentication details, handled by our auth provider, Clerk.
  • Your saved data — the presets, recent papers, and feedback you create, stored in our database (Supabase), scoped to your account. We store the worksheet settings, never the generated PDF.
  • Billing — subscription status and a customer reference, with payments handled by Stripe. We never see or store your full card details.

How worksheets are made

Worksheets are rendered to PDF in your browser. The generated PDF is not uploaded to or stored on our servers.

How we use it

To provide the Service, keep you signed in, save your work, process subscriptions, and respond to feedback. We do not sell your personal information.

Sharing

We share data only with the providers that run the Service (Clerk, Supabase, Stripe, and our host, Vercel), each acting on our behalf, and where required by law.

Retention & your choices

We keep your data while your account is active. You can delete presets and recent papers in the app. To delete your account or request a copy of your data, email [REVIEW: privacy email].

Children

PaperPress is intended for teachers and adults. It is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from children.
